I promised you a peek earlier today of the first session in my new natural light studio.  The studio still needs some work – but the light coming through the windows was great.  Talon has incredible big, blue eyes and an easy smile.  So much fun!!

This little man is coming to visit this morning.  He is eight months old now, I am looking forward to seeing how much he has grown.  Check back for a peek later!

It has been a little quiet around here.  Perfect for thinking and planning!  The results are some exciting new changes coming in 2010!!

I have decided to create a natural light studio!!

Natural light creates some very beautiful portraits.  I have said it before, it is my favorite!  I think the portraits taken with natural light capture the people we love closer to how we see them every day.  So I am always looking for great lighting when I go to a clients home.  I’ve been fortunate to find some really great light, as you can see in the portrait featured in this post.

We had our first big snow storm of the year.  Took a walk along the beach in Woodmont…so beautiful!

This sweet little girl is just 17 days old.  Big thanks to her mom for bringing her over so I could try some new poses.  Of course sweet B had other plans….she didn’t want to miss a thing and just would not go to sleep.

Another angel – I think I like this one better.  The last one I couldn’t get enough detail back into his face.  I need to try that one again and see if I can improve!

This little boy is a few years older now.  I pulled out the photo to try out some new techniques I’ve been seeing.    Tell me what you think!

Zoey Girl Pet Services -  www.zoeygirlpet.com -  takes care of all our pets when we go on a trip.  I recently took some photographs for their Christmas cards.  I’m going to share this one, because I know it wasn’t the final pick.  Zoey looks like she is ready to fly!

I had the pleasure of photographing a second family today at Walnut Beach.  Such cute kids!  I love to see the joy children find in nature…shells, sea grass…it’s all wonderful!  Here’s a peek!
