I’ve always loved photography, even as a child I enjoyed the challenge of capturing what I saw on film. Back when it was film only, I would wait anxiously for that roll to be finished, then developed, before I could see the results. Did it really come out the way I wanted? Unfortunately, all too often how I saw it was not translated onto the film. Digital photography has helped tremendously with learning what settings will create the results I am looking for.
My second love is gardening. I’ve spent many a winter day researching and planning my next garden. Drawing up plot plans, making notes all around the page about plant heights, growing habits and spacing. I tend to find my plans are overambitious come spring, but manage to add a few new things each year. This years great achievement was finally making square foot gardens. But I am getting sidetracked here, because this isn’t about my garden. This post is about that wonderful garden I photographed children in last week. I asked if I could come back just to photograph the garden and was allowed to this morning – Thank you again Phil and Sandee!!
Here are a couple of my favorites!

Great table – love the color!

These two looked so at home with the broccoli.

Note to self – start saving up for a really good macro lens!

The last two are the same photograph, I just used an action to make a second version with a blue feel to it.
